"They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed,
shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him." ~ Psalm 126:5-6

~Sowing in Tears~

It's hard to write this, but I'm going to tell you anyway because you must know and you are desperately needed. Read and you'll find out why....then DO something! :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I stayed home to take care of a girl who likely has malaria and to rest since I wasn't feel well while my family went to church and Sabbath school.
After a while I listened to a message by Sean and Natasha Nebblett ("Turn on the Power") about prayer. I believe this was totally in God's plan for me to have just finished listening to it when I overheard my dad and Thara Eh Guh Nyaw talking about Saw Way Jaw (age 17), one of our boys.
I asked my dad what they were saying. I was hoping that what I was hearing wasn't true.
Dad told me and Hannah that Saw Way Jaw is leaving today. Most or all of his family is in America, so he plans to soon be there with them.
Dad also told us that he did something very bad last week that was clearly against school rules....
Immediately, the Lord whispered, “Go pray.”
I went into my room, fell on my knees, and pleaded for our dear boy, and prayed for wisdom and God's love to shine through my dad and Thara Eh Guh Nyaw as they talked to him.
As tears trickled down my face, I could picture Jesus standing before His Father with a tear stained face, pleading for this boy. And really, all of heaven is laboring--doing all they can--for Saw Way Jaw's salvation, as well as for the salvation of his family. And what a privilege it was that our school was chosen by God to be part of heaven's rescue team on earth to try to save our boy's life!
I stayed on my knees for a little while as they were meeting on our porch. After a few minutes, my ears tuned in and I heard them praying. I couldn't stay in the room any longer. I joined them, his grandmother--a devout Buddhist, I'm sure--, mom, and Hannah, as dad prayed.
When the prayer was over, I couldn't bring myself to say "goodbye".  How could I? This is one of those situations that makes my heart ache the most, and it was very sad to see him walk down our drive way to the road to catch a ride on the public transportation.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

My co-missionaries, today wasn't my first nor will it be my last to plead for our boy's salvation and that He will be a dedicated missionary for and a son of God. And I ask that each of you will join us in praying for him specifically. Now, I'm not talking about a hurried short prayer. No, I'm talking earnest pleas for a boy who is in the hands of the one called Satan who desires to keep him locked in the darkness of this world and heathenism.

We must get on our knees and join Jesus in interceding for Saw Way Jaw. And when we do what we can to strengthen God's side of the battle, by His grace, the devil's side will lose strength. We are fighting for a young soul's eternal destiny and also the destiny of others who God has called Him to be a witness too.

Will you intercede with me for Saw Way Jaw?

Let's claim together the promise that "They that sow in tears shall reap in joy." ~ Psalms 126:5

Saw Way Jaw is the next to the last boy on the right in the back row.
Note: If Saw Way Jaw continued with school this year, he would have been in our Intensive Medical Missionary (IMM) program, starting this Monday. With that in mind, it seems to be no coincidence at the timing of when we left. The Devil, no doubt, is trying to do what he can to keep Saw Way Jaw from knowing Christ and from being trained to work for God.

  1. I will pray for him. God always has more than just Plan A! :) "There are souls that I love so, and I long for their good, and my prayers for them will not stop, until their trust in Him they've put.
    Lord, I know that You will answer, You have done so much for me, and I know that You will heal him; that's why You died on Calvary. Yes, You can wash our stains away, I know You didn't die in vain. Lord, I know, Your salvation will show, and by faith I see, You will set him free." God bless! ~Ryann
