"They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed,
shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him." ~ Psalm 126:5-6

~Blessings from My Father~

Time has passed by like the blink of an eye since I last wrote in April. My life has been full, amazing, crazy, exciting, and....Well, just come here and you'll know it for yourself. :)
Anyhow, in case you were worried that I might have gotten bit by some snake and ended up dying out here (because you haven't heard any peep from me for a long while), I will assure you that I'm still quite active and alive. ;) You haven't been hearing from me because, for some reason, internet just doesn't fit into my daily agendas very easily anymore. So, I'm sorry to those of you who read my blog.

Blessings from my Father....

My Father in heaven--the GREAT, BIG God who made all things and faithfully supplies my needs--floods every day with many blessings--small and large--,all of which are tokens of His unfailing love for his child.

God loves to give good gifts to His children. (Matthew 7:11) He fills my days with blessings. And I wish I could share many of them with you, but time doesn't permit that. So, here's four pretty special ones:

1. This Monday marked week 5 of the first term of the school year. It's been a busy 5 weeks. I, a teacher. Teaching grades 3-6. With an 135 students all together. It's been a joy to be teaching again. So many different character types to learn and to deal with--an unending growing experience of which I am thankful for. Each student is a special gift that God has given to me and their other teachers to train up in the path of life.

My first English exam was two weeks ago. On one of the grade 6 exams, the students were to write a sentence for their vocabulary word always.

Joy pumped through my heart when I read Sah Ma Lay's sentence. "I want to pray always." There is no doubt in my mind that that sentence was strait from her heart. :)

2. I very thankful for each of the 347 precious young people here. Each one is a beautiful masterpiece.

3. I've been blessed to have grade 7 as my working buddies this year. We've had rice bag loads of fun together. From weeding tapioca and banana trees, to landscaping, to preparing a new garden, to planting mango trees...and a few other fun things scattered in between.

They are a great crew and such a joy to be around. We sing, talk, work, and laugh together. Oh, and we get plenty wet and muddy together, too. ;)

One day recently , as we were hacking away at weeds, I got the urge to sing.

While I was thinking about it, Saw Plu said, "Teacher, sing. You sing, I am happy. You know? You sing praise to God."

Immediately, Jaw Nyew Aye chimed in, "Teacher, sing 'Wonderful, Wonderful'."

I started to sing, then  he joined.

"Wonderful, wonderful.
Yes, my Lord is wonderful!
Isn't Jesus, my Lord, wonderful?
Eyes have seen; ears have heard.
'Tis recorded in God's word.
Isn't Jesus, my Lord, wonderful?

"Wonderful, wonderful.
Isn't Jesus, my Lord, wonderful?
Eyes have seen; ears have heard.
'Tis recorded in God's word.
Isn't Jesus, my Lord, wonderful?"

Next, came "Joy, Joy" and "He's Able"--- other favorite songs.

I'm so thankful to my Father for blessing me with the gift of working with students who love to sing praises to God while they work.

4. The Bible study/Baptismal classes are up and going again! We'll have our third one this coming Friday night. As usual, a good size number of young people attend the class. It's so exciting to see several new students come. Some or all come from Buddhist homes. Please keep our students and these classes in special prayer.
