Our group shares the gospel (inluding children's programs), does medical work (led or co-led by students), help villagers with farming and other needs, and helps teach at our branch schools there. More and more villages are opening up to us and asking us to please build more schools send them teachers. (So, we are doing our best to take hold of these opportunities. If we don't, it is very likely that other Christian or Buddhist schools will be established in those places instead.) Most of the villages are so grateful for our students who help them when they can, but most of them need a teacher(s) to live and work there.
This mission group isn't just active only during our mission trips. No, this group is active all year. We meet together on most Sabbath nights in a quiet room on a little hill. We spend much time in prayer and Bible study together. This is the best and most important preparation that we could ever gain for service for God and warfare against the enemy of souls. We are constantly preparing for, not only mission service in the villages in Burma, but also mission service at school and close by. It's an incredible blessing.

On February 24, Thara Eh Guh Nyaw and 18-20 young people set off on our fourth mission trip. He and most of the young people returned to the school on Thursday last week.
He asked four of our students--Saw Eh Soe, Saw Kho Noh, Naw Mu Kway, and Sah Ma Lay--if they would like to stay for 1 to 3 months in a village(s) to teach. These four young people love God and His word very much. They love sharing their faith. They are some of our most spiritually strong and missionary-minded, Adventist youth.
So, they are busy right now teaching about God and teaching subjects like English, Burmese, math, etc. Please join us in praying for them.
On Thursday, after our mission group's return, my family was given a letter from each of the boys. It was a special, exciting surprise to say the least. Hannah translated the letters. I thought that I'd share them with you.

"Galatians 1:10.
"I thank *Thara Joko very much with all his household. Most of all, I thank Father God for using me in His work. After I was baptized, I was excited about working for God; but I also felt discouraged because my family forsook me.
"The things that I need, I request from God who gives me what I need. Psalm 116:12. Please excuse me since I don't write very well. I want to request one thing of you all. I cannot do anything. I need you to pray to God. I also will pray to the God of grace and mercy. Psalm 126:5-6."
