"They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed,
shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him." ~ Psalm 126:5-6

~NEED English Teachers for Next School Year~

We need one or more dedicated English teachers for next school year. If the Lord is calling upon your heart to fill this highly privileged, rewarding, and important position, or you know of someone else who may be interested in it, please prayerfully visit our ministry's website: Karen Outreach and/or my family's The Steck Family Missions

Next school year will be here very soon. YOU may be the one that God is calling to help reach out to the hearts of these dear Karen children, to young adults in their early twenties, and as well as to villagers. Believe me, you will not regret the amazing blessing that it is. :) The joy seeking to leading them to their Redeemer, the character growth that you'll gain, the ever-growing friendship with your students that it brings is something that you'll be eternally thankful for.

Keep in mind that the most important thing isn't teaching them English, your ultimate goal every moment is to live a life of "consistent, substantial, lovable Christian," (Christ Triumphant, 329--Ellen G. White) to give them a pure picture of what God is like, and to win their hearts for Christ, and to train them to be committed workers for the Lord. Students are giving their lives to the Lord and are wanting to work for him. Many want to be Bible workers, medical workers, teachers (some want to be teachers here), and some want to be two or all three of those. They are finding the true meaning and purpose in life.

Just think of it--most of these young people are coming from heathen (Buddhist) homes and many are becoming sincere Christians.

Please join us in praying about this.

And don't hesitate to answer the Lord's call.

Off to English classes... :)

  1. Will be praying! Sorry, can't teach English, but maybe there'll be some help with the building this winter. Might pray about that, if you would. :-D
