I was just going by the girls dorm on my way to the kitchen to see if there were any fresh vegies that I'd like to bring home, when Ma Luh Gee came dashing towards me and excitedly calling out to me while holding a cell phone up to her ear.
I stopped and wondered what she wanted. And then I thought, could it be Naw May Say? No, it couldn't be. That would be a very slim chance, I'm sure.
But to my surprise....
"Teach, teacher, teacher! Teacher, Naw May Say!"
So I seriously feel like jumping up and down in the air and spinning around. It would be impossible for me to put into words how special and exciting it was to talk to her. To hear her voice. And, even though we were barely be able to communicate since she had forgotten some English and the cell reception wasn't that great, we were able to understand at least some of what each other said.
But, oh the joy. It seems nothing else but imaginary that I talked to her.
Please, pray for our dear girl who is in Bangkok. She wants to come back and thankfully doesn't like it down there. More than anything, hold her up in prayer.
