A little, cute froggy helped make my day! I found him, this morning, hopping on top of one of the stuffed, open boxes in my room. I grabbed him and showed him to my family, and then I had fun playing with him outside, shortly before worship. God is good! He knows that sometimes it's the sweet, tiny things that speak to our hearts the most and that show us that he cares.
In the same way, often it's the little acts of kindness, the simple words of encouragement, and the prayers for another that touch that person's life the most. It's those sweet, tiny deeds and thoughts of love that really show the person that you care for and love them. It's those little things that we do through Christ that show to him or her the love of God for them.
Let's not neglect those little things.
It really IS the little things :)I pulled a frog out of our pool not so long ago and it made my day just to see him recover from his near-drowning. Now that you made me start thinking about the importance of little kindnesses, I think I may have to write a blog post on the topic...Thanks for the inspiration!
